An Iowa State Fan Raises Over $5,000 With ‘Beer Money’ Sign & Now He’s Giving It All to Charity!!!

ESPN’S “College GameDay” broadcasted from Ames, Iowa this past weekend. As usual, there were a bunch of fans in the background holding up their homemade signs.
One of them was a ISU fan by the name of Carson King. King brought a sign that said, “Busch Light Supply Needs Replenished.” King listed his information so people could Venmo him and he never expected what happened next.
Within minutes, he had hundreds of dollars in his account. By Monday, the amount in King’s account was up over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. King has raised enough money to get some Busch Light and then some.
King is not keeping the money or throwing a party, he’s DONATING it to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
What started off as a desperate attempt for some Busch Lattes turned into thousands of dollars for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital. https://t.co/6fM3icaOZ5

King’s gesture was noticed by the folks at Busch and they are matching the donation. Busch will also be filling his fridge.
.@CarsonKing2 this is the best thing we have read all year, we’re inspired.
We’re going to match your donation to University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and we’ll throw in some of that Busch Light you were looking for. https://t.co/NPPrPp6zJg

He’s keeping the whole thing going for the rest of the month. If you want to help out, just Venmo him at Carson-King-25.
